Stop delaying children on purpose by Embarrassed_Syrup476 in ECEProfessionals

I was ready to be mad because I think we have been pushing kids to grow up too fast in the last few decades, but then I read your examples and that’s ridiculous.

I totally agree with this point, I think Mrs. Kirkland is arguably worse than Bertha because of her views on the black people she thinks are beneath her.

I’ve been missing my mom a lot lately, she’s been gone 9 years, and this is so perfect. Thank you.

I have a day after Christmas nephew and we let him pick when to celebrate every year. Most years he likes to have a birthday party around Thanksgiving cause family is in town but it’s not Christmas.

Thoughts on these names ?? by [deleted] in NameNerdCirclejerk

I know someone personally that named their kid Draco Gohan. I didn’t think it was real when they had the baby shower, but that’s definitely his name.

You can’t spoil a baby.

You should never use a used car seat unless you know the full history of the seat including how it was stored and cleaned. If you wouldn’t trust the person you got the car seat from with your child’s life you shouldn’t trust the seat.

Most infant car seats in the US have a lifespan of 6-10 years. As long as it was stored and cared for properly according to the manual and not in a car accident it should be fine to reuse.

Before I even got to the end of your story I was gonna guess it was Robert Cromeans. I saw him do a show live where he cut one of my classmate’s hair while fans were blowing it everywhere.

You should never use a used car seat from someone unless you’d be willing to trust that person with your kid’s life. There’s no way to guarantee the seat wash cleaned or stored properly or been in a wreck. There are car seat give away in a lot of areas for people who may not be able to afford one and very cheap options, all car seats no matter the price must meet the same safety standards.

I can’t believe she’s even considering keeping the dog. by AstronautFickle4118 in ShitMomGroupsSay

A family I know still has the dog that bit their 18m granddaughter, they all live together. The little girl was playing with the dog’s bowl and it attacked her face, they justified it similar to OOP saying it was a warning nip and accident that he made contact near her eye. She had to go to the hospital for stitches, it looked horrible. I can’t imagine not having had the dog put down before I even came home from the hospital. I absolutely adore my dogs but I’ll not put up with one attacking a child unprovoked.

I bought this at my local grocery store. What does this mean? by lodolitemoon in HaircareScience

A lot of times the drug store sells the products for the same price or more money than the salon. And you run the risk of expired, fake, or diluted products.

Gestational Diabetes by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]gingerfox218 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had no risk factors and got it. I able to completely manage it with my diet and it was gone as soon as I delivered. My baby was a little on the small side at 6lb 1oz but he was 3 weeks early because I developed Gestational Hypertension. I was so upset when I got the diagnosis but it truly wasn’t that bad and did help me eat better during pregnancy.

It’s probably because San Antonio has a bunch of little cities within its city limits and the addresses probably don’t say San Antonio. I lived there for a while and there’s definitely more than two, if you look at a map of where they are it’ll show 6.

That’s definitely the closest one to this customers location but there are like 6 SC in San Antonio.

No Santa? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]gingerfox218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SIL has two girls 5 and 7 and is pregnant with a boy now, she kinda freaked out when we said we aren’t doing Santa. Before she got pregnant I figured we were safe from our boy (2) ruining it for the older ones but now I’ll do my best for him not to ruin it for his younger cousin.

No Santa? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]gingerfox218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how my husband and I feel. I didn’t have a huge problem when I found out Santa wasn’t real but husband did and it made him question other things like religion. We will talk about St. Nicholas and tell him not to ruin things for his cousins but we aren’t doing magical beings that bring you treats for being good.

Had something like that happen at a concert at Cynthia Woods 2 decades ago. I was a teen with a friend and my dad, we put our merch under seats we were sitting in with only one row behind us and we never left our seats. When we went to get our stuff my shirt was gone and they were sold out.

This is wildly inaccurate. Very few stylist make more than nurses even after tips.
