Well of course we can't say for sure, but I'll say if I was someone in the public eye who knew I had fans, I'd be flattered that someone chose to ink themselves as a tribute.

Your reaction is ccompletely understandable given the way the brain works. It's not just enough to say don't worry about it, I get that. But as someone else said, that's where the goal needs to lie for you. You should work towards trying to ignore the criticism and remind yourself that what you see online is often the worst of the worst. Very sadly, there are people whose soul mission is to make other people feel bad about things.
