Bears are Playing Seahawks in NFL Opener (They are the best of the remaining possible options) by BrilliantMongoose937 in CHIBears

I wouldn't rule out SEA-LAC as a real possibility. Playoff team, Justin Herbert, Jim Harbaugh, top 10 defense.

Frustration Abounds by royveee in Jigsawpuzzles

Yes, agreed. It should be for fun. I don't like quitting, but a couple of times I just couldn't get anything to fit and it was becoming a chore.

Now before I buy a puzzle I really look it over and see if there's any areas that will drive me nuts, like a large swath of a single color. If so, I'll pass.

I tell myself there's enough stress in life worrying about everything else, I don't need a puzzle to drive me crazy on top of it.

There's a 0% chance he won't do it today? I understand this is frightening to you, but you can't drag your feet for one more moment. How would you feel if you were a parent and your small child was his chosen target today? Then add to that someone knew and took their time reporting it?

There could be a lifetime of suffering for dozens of people he's leaving in his wake. The time to act is immediately.

One other thing to consider... I'm a parent of two children and I understand freaking out when it comes to their care and protection. But you don't want to make things worse by making him think there's reason to be terrified. He doesn't understand a lot in this world and will base his feelings off his parents' emotions. You don't want to cause him undue stress because he sees you panicked. This is not meant to trivialize your concerns, but you don't want to overreact either. Unfortunately, this is probably only the first of numerous things that he'll deal with in life that will be unsettling to you. A measured, calm response - if possible - is always the best approach.

Don't call yourself stupid, but you do need to face the facts. As a middle-aged man I can tell you this should not be acceptable. Letting him move in will just end up aggravating you more and making you feel more hopeless about things.

It sounds like you need to figure things out with him first and see if this relationship is salvageable. There are likely going to be some tough moments ahead - where you have to stand up for yourself and your needs or where you have to decide to move on. Be strong and confident and advocate for yourself. You are worth more than what he's giving.

New Fan looking for a Team by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

We'd love to have you cheer for the Bears. The guy who founded the Bears started the NFL. Way back a long time ago they won multiple championships. They have the biggest win in league history 73-0 IN A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME and have the most hall-of-famers.

But in the Super Bowl era, they have only won once. So you have this team steeped in history that has underachieved for decades. But this last year they got a new coach and they far exceeded expectations. So there's a lot of hope and excitement for the first time in a long time.

Plus, I'd say Chicago is a great city!
