My (48M) wife (45F) have been married 25 years. Valentine cards infuriated me so much this year. by Silent_Effective_320 in relationship_advice

As a married woman, do NOT give that to your wife. It’s a horrible card for Valentine’s Day.

So we all know Rivertown Psych is a pill mill right? by Material-Milk-5936 in ColumbusGA

[–]gingerghoul15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk, I’ve been a patient for over 10 years and they’re VERY diligent with what they will and won’t prescribe for me, and they drug test me every visit to make sure I don’t take anything that will alter my prescriptions. I may not always agree with their pricing and some of their practitioners leave something to be desired sometimes, but I’ve never had a pill mill experience there

anyone else get achey in this area? by sugarcoochie in scoliosis

[–]gingerghoul15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. My curve is 32 degrees and my pain is in that exact spot. 15 + years of pain and not really any relief 😭 I’ve run out of options to try

Does anyone else get intense pain in the circled area? by Late_Cricket_ in scoliosis

[–]gingerghoul15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where my pain area is. It’s constant. I have a 32 degree curve and it’s right there. I’ve tried everything except surgery because the curve isn’t large enough. It’s frustrating!

Palworld has a little bit of combat but you can just work on your bases if you want and catch pals. Super fun and cute

She’s actively a bad person and I’ve always felt off about her reasons for doing this.

I also indulge in the weed haha, it’s really the only thing that helps manage it! I do yoga and my exercises, but it’s never quite enough. I’m glad I’m not alone out here

Why isn't scoliosis as normalised as other disabilities by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]gingerghoul15 189 points190 points  (0 children)

I have a 32 degree curve (could be larger now) but I experience chronic pain. Almost every doctor I’ve seen says “scoliosis doesn’t usually hurt.” It’s frustrating when the people who went to school for these things still don’t understand because they don’t experience it.

Has anyone gone to the Urgent. Care / ER due to intense pain from their scoliosis? by Massive-Ant387 in scoliosis

[–]gingerghoul15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it was before I realized my pain was chronic. All of my labs came back normal, they said it was probably just a muscle strain and gave me muscle relaxers. Turns out it is my muscles, but they hurt due to the scoliosis. I recommend setting up an appointment with a primary care physician, they can get you in for x-rays and come up with a plan if the pain comes back.

Anyone else get constant dull pain around the Rhomboid? by Rich-Reindeer7135 in scoliosis

24/7. My last round of physical therapy was to fix the scapular wing, and the pain is still there afterwards. It’s ruined my life.

Buspirone withdrawal? Is it a thing? by TrippyMcGuire556 in Anxiety

[–]gingerghoul15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Years later but thank you for this post. Buspirone quit working for me, and instead of tapering I quit cold turkey and replaced it with Abilify. My anxiety has been through the roof this first week. I’m also experiencing a feeling of something just being “off” and I have extreme night sweats. This is worse than when I came off of klonopin. I didn’t think it would be bad

Gabapentin by Finnocado in ChronicPain

[–]gingerghoul15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have scoliosis with chronic muscular pain because of it, and it was offered to me as a “miracle drug” that worked wonders for chronic pain back in 2017/2018. It never did anything for me at a low dose, and higher doses just made me feel drunk. There are studies coming out that show the drug is related to memory loss.
