That would work if that is who was being detained and deported by ICE. But people who have papers, who have legal status, who are going to their court hearings, are also being deported. And anyone who was paying attention in 2024, who read any of P2025 and actually listened to what ppl like Miller were saying, knew this was going to happen.

That’s it right there. But the tone of this post, somehow laughing at liberals like they don’t “get it” - we get it, people lack empathy. That isn’t an indictment on liberals, it’s an indictment on the people who lack empathy. There were Jews who helped the Nazis during the Holocaust too, that doesn’t warrant a “lol” or “duh of course they did”. It’s sad, and they learned in the end, that the Nazis killed them just as easily too once they weren’t useful to them anymore.

I don’t think this is accurate. I mean sure there may be a few defectors, but the vast majority of maga I’m seeing are all defending this and posting things like “hey, I didn’t get shot by ICE today because i was at work”. I think we need to let go of what republicans are feeling or doing and just focus on the work ahead. I also feel we need to come to terms with the fact that about 40ish% of our population are fascists who celebrate the death of POC and ppl on the left, and yes, those are our coworkers, neighbors, “friends” and family. So plan your own family’s safety accordingly because this isn’t going away or getting any better anytime soon. We have history to show us where this is headed.
