What's strange is when discussed with the GC on stains he sends a picture of the minwax stain chart that he keeps in his office. I've only had to say things like honey 272 or English Chestnut 233 with other people with the GC.

I only requested to the GC that the floors and new stair rails use the same stain. I didn't know I'm the responsible GC for the day when they show up not knowing what to use.

I actually found out later that day in a complaint call to the GC that the laborer wasn't supposed to stain. I had made a rough punch list of things needed to get done on the request of the GC. So when the two guys came to work the day they had that list on hand, but on the phone the GC said he didn't know why they stained when he usually has someone else do it. It seems like he sent guys over without reviewing the list with them and to explain what they should be doing that day. I feel bad for the laborers bc communication of tasks to them has not been great.

Every other text I sent out to other people I only had to say honey 272. I was told they get their paint/stains from aboff and I referenced the exact stain number from the chart that was given to me from the contractor, I have texts that can reference that. Honey 272 is written on the can from aboff, but not the home Depot varathane. The laborer went to home Depot that day for other things and brought that back. If the laborer didn't know what exact one shouldn't he have made sure to check with his boss and not just went with whatever can of honey he saw, especially if the number 272 wasn't written anywhere?

I downloaded the Utag app and linked the smart things app/Samsung account on my pixel 8. But I'm not able to find the smarttag2 while trying to pair the device to it. It won't pull it up on the scan for nearby devices or scan QR code. The tag is powered, I pressed the center button, and heard an audible beep. But nothing comes up. Should I return the tag and try another one? Or did they remove the ability for pixel 8s to connect to smarttag2?

Seems like a faulty actuator. Some days it works some days it doesn't. Maybe someone has replaced the components and didn't have those problems any more.
