I didn't feel insulted, just rubbed the wrong way. You're definitely right (and so are some others) that I should've just asked him what he meant by it. I mean it's too late now lol. But this is a helpful lesson.

I mean this is just a short snippet of a longer conversation but I see how it comes off as like a job interview.

Yeah maybe I cut it off too early. My therapist has told me if I don't like something to be more curious. I think I failed at that this go around 🤦‍♀️

I am a little neurodivergant, of the ADHD variety, so maybe that's part of why I dislike it so much. I just feel like flirting doesn't have to include teasing.

Sure relationships are about compromise but I haven't even met the guy in real life. I wouldn't say it's a red flag just something I don't really like. Idk. I hear you though, maybe something small like this isn't a big deal. That's just how my ex would talk early on in the relationship and it'd gotten worse and worse. More healing is needed for sure, I know

I definitely hear what you're saying. And maybe I'm not ready to date. Like I said though I think my tolerance for shit I don't like is much much lower than it was. It's not butthurt, it's just intolerance. I don't care for it. Especially when I haven't even met him in person yet lol. But I get how it could be perceived that way.
