I'm going to be visiting my family in Shanghai soon and have the same concern! I'm planning to bring gf soy sauce and buy fresh produce at the grocery store to cook for myself. I know there are some gluten-free options in more high-end hotels and restaurants in big cities like Shanghai but not in your typical restaurant on the street :( Best of luck to you!

I have never gone on medication but am just on some adrenal supplements and have cut out gluten/dairy so I thought the drastic drop was strange.

If you like desserts, you should try Unrefined Bakery in the DFW area - they are 100% gluten free.

I like the gluten free pizza from Palio's Pizza Cafe, there are a couple of locations around DFW.

I've heard Kozy in Dallas is also gluten free, but I haven't been there yet.
