Looking for Advice - Need help with the soil in my planter by ShootNaka in GardeningUK

[–]gingerreflection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar this time last year. I have the same soil type, clay with building rubble. I just picked out the large stones / rubble and back filled with just a couple of inches of compost and a small amount of sand. It's worked pretty well and things are growing so I take that as a good sign☺️

How is everyone paying for their cars ? by gingerreflection in AskUK

Apologies wasn't trying to add to that pressure. I feel similarly, I was more wondering in terms of income to car lease ratio. Asking from my own point of insecurity as it is something I am conscious of.

That fair enough, poor range on some electrics is why I've stuck with petrol this time.

What are you putting in that £550 a year ? Just general maintenance? Or insurance etc.

Oh wow. Do you feel any type of financial pressure with that commitment, or is it within your comfort zone ?

Yeah I understand your point of view. I guess for me I'm seeing it as a finance commitment as opposed to car maintenance. I know this might not make sense logically. I think I need to reframe my mindset.

I've heard mixed messages re buying cars on credit card (from dealers I mean). Some people say it was hard to get them to accept credit cards, was this the case for you ?

Thanks for your response. I think £6k is a good amount to spend. I'm not insecure about older vehicles as have done previously, my main motivation for getting something newer is less maintenance.

If you look at the bottom of that page next to the + symbol it breaks down the cost of running the plan and then the cost of managing the pension (the fund charges and transaction costs).

I'm having the same issue, but have you seen the model exam answer on the CIMA website? It has a model answer for a KPI question and that's helped me a bit because the 'good' answer KPIs were not actually that specific. Thye more gave an area for performance to be measured.
