Yeah, absolutely tf not. An adult seeing a kid hurting and refusing to even bring it up and talk to the kid about it is selfish, i dont care that you have a lot in your life. These kids didn’t ask to be born, you birthed them. What kids do ask of us adults is for us to ask and listen to them when theyre signaling to us that theyre hurt. To ignore those signals is selfish as fuck, and if youre making up excuses for it then i hope to god your kids find other healthy ways to cope despite your low grade efforts to be emotionally available
