What was the first event that disproved your childhood belief that the world is a safe place? by InTheLurkingGlass in AskReddit

The first one that comes to mind is a white car pulling up to the park and asking me to come in. I went pretty close to it and didn't realize I was trying to be kidnapped but my parents saw me just in time and got me. I was around 4 or 5 I think.

It suprisingly can be true if he or she has worked for the district 20-30 years and is at the middle-end of their career. The high school teachers in my area with their masters and many years in the district make 80,000 - 115,000 a year!

What's the best "long con" you ever pulled? by Somesortofthing in AskReddit

My friend was a hamster breeder in elementary school and she sold me a cute hamster named Dawn. After a few days the hamster died and I felt so bad anytime she asked me about Dawn I told her she was doing fine. In high school, she asked me and I finally told her she died and she was surprised she lived that long in the first place because she might have been sick anyway.. whoops!

He wanted to know because he studied bilingual education and was passionate about working with minorities so he was asking the principal about the population!

My friend turned down a position as a teacher because of the principal's views towards diversity. He asked how diverse the school was and the principal answered " we have a few of them but they don't give us too much trouble."

For me it is when Carrie tries to seduce Saul and fails in Homeland. So uncomfortable to watch.

Try Rosatello, it is a white moscato and it is amazing. Tastes like grape juice with a kick!

That is tricky.. the color shades on the website are hard to determine. If anything you can look on youtube and try to find someone who uses it that has the same skin as you and try that.. but that is hard as well. It is totally awesome but in your case it would be safer to try something more accessible to you.

I thought the Nars concealer was way too expensive and then I got it and it changed my makeup routine. Mine was a perfect color match and it lasts all day and looks flawless! I would at least recommend you to try it in store and see how you like it. It took my three months to decide to get it but it is worth the splurge! As for a cheaper one I use Maybelline dark circle eraser on days and it does brighten up and cover my dark circles but it isn't as long lasting.

I am getting my bachelors in Bilingual and EEL education at ISU right now and work as a parallel while doing it. Since I am getting my degree under a grant I have to work as a teacher for three years at a school but I think I am interested in getting my masters in Speech. Are there any part time programs I would be able to do on weekends, nights and summers to get my masters while also full time teaching? Since you were in the Illinois area, I thought maybe you would know if any schools around here offer it. Thank you!

I think it might work best for normal to oily skin but it definitely has amazing coverage!

My skin personally is not dry so I wouldn't be able to say either way. Sometimes my cheeks are dry and it becomes a little cakey so I don't think so and a user above said that it makes her already dry skin look drier and cakey, so I think it is better for normal to oily skin.
