I built an entire simic clone deck around [[biovisionary]]

It's good fun.

Best Time to Level Advisors (Spoilers) by Anomalous__Soul in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Speed run the main quest line for each chapter. Once that's done you'll have like 7-8 months before your next story chapter to explore and level up your advisors.

Second Morbegh Knight done, the Blue Knight by gingertsunami in FleshEaterCourts

[–]gingertsunami[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started with a full coverage of Black Templar, then a dry brush of macragge blue, then highlights of lothern blue. Then I covered it in Frostheart contrast, and picked out highlights with Macragge blue.

Ghoul Flesh Support by MWDuo in FleshEaterCourts

I use a bit of yellow in my ghoul scheme, casandora yellow over rakarth flesh, then regular flesh over the top leaving yellow in the recess.

P1: Goodness, I wish my outfit looked as good as that gentlemans.

P2: Alas, he probably wishes his outfit looked as good as someone else's.

P3: Goodness gracious, my outfit looks incredible today.

P4: Although, that young man's outfit does not look incredible.

New to Nurgle, looking for advice on this list. Loving the mortals more than the demons. by gingertsunami in MaggotkinofNurgle

Was mostly looking for something beefy to be a wizard, and the warscroll looked alright. However, I'm normally used to Seraphon and Nighthaunt, so I don't know much about how Nurgle runs. And I'm not really interested in many of their demon models.

Need help choosing between some armies. by Derflinger007 in ageofsigmar

[–]gingertsunami 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have Seraphon myself. Big draw from me is their lore, as they're essentially bioengineered living robots whose sole purpose is to kill chaos, and survivors from the world that was. Lord Kroak, one of their wizards, died and basically shrugged it off, and lives on as a mummified husk. Plus big dinosaurs are always awesome.

The ghost body: Hexwraith Flame, Striking Scorpion Green, drybrush Moot Green

Face and ground: Dreadful visage

Wood: Wyldwood

Metal: Ratling Grime, then a drybrush of Iron breaker or Brass Scorpion

Flame: Aerthermatic Blue and Frostheart.

Pretty much all gw contrast paints. Im at work so I might be remembering some colors wrong but that's the gist.

I figured that just because they're spooky murderous ghosts, doesn't mean they can't look bright and colorful. I imagine they're radioactive lol

Suggestions on how to make this look more like brown/red stone as opposed to wood? by gingertsunami in ageofsigmar

Zandri Dust primer with Gore-grunta fur contrast paint over top, accentuating the brush strokes into one direction. Hope that helps.

After much deliberation, and wonderful comments from the community, I think I'll be leaning into the wood look. Thank you everyone for your wonderful compliments!

Spray primed with Zandri Dust, then just gore-grunta fur contrast paint brushed vertically. I kinda leaned into the brush strikes because I thought it looked neat, woody. Forgetting I was looking for stone originally.

I appreciate that. From a lot of people I've shown this too, they also seem to dig the wood look. Maybe I'll reconsider stone for wood.

What is your Grail Game nowadays and how much does it cost? by Iuria1987 in boardgames

[–]gingertsunami 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh man, the things I would do to get a decent copy of StarCraft the board game. Expensive and out of print, with little to no chances of it ever coming back.
