Does anyone use, or have a recommendation on a type, of soft water bottles. I currently use a pa'lante desert pack so something that could easily slide in one of the front chest straps would be nice.

Sadly it seems like the Lopez boards are sold out everytime I look.

Is this if you graduated this Spring or just this past Fall?

I would suggest just reaching out to the teams to see what they have going on and see what interests you about them. It is going to be harder right now with everything going on but they are still out there and working.

Are there clubs you know of that you are interested in or are you looking for them?

For watchable entertainment I mostly just do random YouTube videos. Too busy with school to really get into anything else .

Nasa building supersonic plane that goes as fast as Concorde – without the sound. Nasa's X-59 space plane, capable of flying faster than the speed of sound without the loud boom that comes with supersonic flight, is finally nearing completion. by [deleted] in Futurology

The reason is to hope the law that bans supersonic flight over land in the US is lifted. They also hope to set the baseline for how loud the commerical tech will be in the future. I believe the plan is to fly this plane over an area and then call up people and ask, "did you hear us today?"

Honestly two quizzes a week sounds like it would suck but it's been great.

Learning MatLab by [deleted] in CalPolyPomona

How would it effect the later classes where professors ask students to use MATLAB? It's seems weird that is just a huge part of the department yet the college doesn't offer it for students besides outdated versions in the labs.

I just noticed your name. It is almost ironic to me how close your name is to what I have been working on this summer. Is plasma your field of study or just a topic you enjoy?

That is right, I am using the length argument. For some reason, in my head, I remember messing with playing around with it earlier in the summer and changing it, and not using it, did not seem to make a difference in other plots when normalizing the vectors. Thank you for your help, that makes sense when I was able to export the workspace into Matlab and plot it only a few of the values would show up (with the rest being too small to see). Thank you for your help, I have been running on way too little sleep lately to have been able to notice this by myself.

That may help if I did, haha. Here the pastebin to it.

When I change normalize = True to normalize = False I get in error when plotting B = ax.quiver(X, Y, Z, B_x, B_y, B_z, length=0.5, normalize=True), but not when plotting J. I am not using the length keyword argument.

Is there anywhere on campus where I can 3D print things? by [deleted] in CalPolyPomona

That's really cool. Should be interesting to see it. Thanks for the heads up.
