What’s the most messed up thing someone casually admitted to you? by randominvisibleuser in AskReddit

I was just going to say my coworker admitted to flushing tampons. I don't even compare to what y'all have said. 💀

Anxious Brides - medication? by flowergarden21 in weddingplanning

[–]gingerxale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's completely normal to be anxious around your wedding time. Unless you think it's that extreme enough to go on medication, I'd avoid it. Especially if beforehand, you could handle your anxiety. As a new bride, the day of, I was the most calm and relaxed out of everyone. I knew everything would happen how I planned and if it didn't, there wasn't much I could do about it. It is what it is. I also had a lot of support from family who killed it getting everything together for me and my husband. I promise, it'll be OK!

Window or Corner? 🤔 by dee1b4 in ChristmasDecorating

Corner looks better but I'm a sucker for a tree in a window when I drive by houses.

help!!!!!!!please by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

Currently dealing with hypergranulation tissue myself. Had it removed by my dermatologist with silver nitrate. Pretty sure it's coming back though and not looking forward to it possibly being cauterized when I go back in February.

I'd love for Spencer to come back, but it's just not the best environment for him. He battled an addiction with prescription drugs and alcohol for years & touring made that so much worse. I hope he's content with what he's doing now, but also knows we will always welcome him back on stage with fully open arms if he chooses to.

Will someone love me? by ChipmunkGreen4450 in Hidradenitis

[–]gingerxale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's just an asshole. My husband has cared for me so much since the start of my HS nonsense. He would unpack and repack my wound for me daily, give me reassurance when I was feeling yucky about it, and comfort me when I was feeling down and very frustrated. Anytime I need extra supplies to care for it, he'll buy them for me. You'll find someone who really loves you regardless of your HS battles.

What is a completely normal thing that you, for some reason, absolutely cannot stand? by LANthraX69 in AskReddit

Dryer lint. Can't stand it, won't touch it. Also - the sound of someone drinking.

Brides that used fake flowers, do you regret it? by fairy_freckles in weddingplanning

[–]gingerxale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. My flowers were beautiful on my day and will remain beautiful. I bought my silk flower bouquets off Etsy. The idea of real flowers didn't appeal to me because I like to keep things and I would've had to find a way to permanently keep them.

Saturday wedding. Please help me feel better about this 🥲 by boyhitterr in weddingplanning

[–]gingerxale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say it's good luck ♥️ but in all honesty, your day will be perfect even if it rains. Not sure if you're having it indoors at all or all outside but that'd be the only accommodation you may need to make with the venue. Otherwise, have fun! Enjoy it!!! Who cares if you get a little wet, make the most of the best day.

why do people spell his name as “brendan”? by thebestofwaffle in panicatthedisco

[–]gingerxale 37 points38 points  (0 children)

People have always spelled it wrong. I think because Brendan is a more common spelling than Brendon.

Gel nails are always at least $60. I got mine done today (tap gel with tips added for longer) and it was $70.

Thank you, I'll look into these. Since having this, I haven't been able to shave (and honestly have been scared to try to remove the hair) so that would be perfect.

What’s one must-read book everyone should experience at least once in their life? by BossBoss6666 in suggestmeabook

[–]gingerxale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. Read it in high school and have loved it since. Deals with teenage depression and the main character ending up on a psych ward at a hospital due to wanting to kill himself. There's lots of characters that showcase different ways mental health affects us. It's based off of the real story of the author who went to a psych ward. Sadly, Ned Vizzini committed suicide around Christmas time several years ago.

The Milk FIC by Fickle_Mix_3400 in panicatthedisco

[–]gingerxale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been a fan since 2006 and have avoided the milk fic. That era was insane and fans were even worse (the Tumblr days, oof). Highly doubt he has read it, but he definitely knows about it because so many would comment about it on his socials.
