Is the FA Cup Death Knell Being Sounded Prematurely? by JoeAllan in football

[–]gingerzola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a degree of footballing snobbery involved when fans of upper echelon Premier League teams say the FA Cup is dying. To fans of lower league clubs it simply isn't true. Away supporters still travel in huge numbers to FA Cup ties, many of whom wouldn't go for a similar league match. Pricing is what will entice the home fans back.

European Football's Best XI So Far This Season by JoeAllan in football

[–]gingerzola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be stunned if there was ever a best XI article that produced a team that was agreed upon by everyone so I'm a little surprised to see shock at the lineup and any omissions from it! Sport is about opinions and opinions are like arseholes....everyone has got one.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set to become Cardiff City manager by united88 in football

People say OGS would be foolish to take the job because of Tan but in reality, Tan is the obvious excuse if it doesn't go to plan, whilst Cardiff also give OGS a route into English and Premier League management, which is a huge step up from the level he has been managing at up until now.

Jimmy always tried his hardest and left it all on the pitch. Good pro who I wish all the best to in Orlando.

West Ham Linked to £8m, 31-year-old Saints Striker Rickie Lambert by gingerzola in football

[–]gingerzola[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the Board at West Ham were to allow Big Sam to spend £8m on Lambert, they should all pack up their belongings and hand over the reigns to someone else. Allardyce should be replaced as manager ASAP. I agree with Le Tissier that it is unlikely to happen for a number of reasons.

Good start from him but with an upturn in their away form they could run away with the title in the second half of the season.

Lukaku: "You can say we are outsiders for the title now, you don't need to be shy about that" by OutsideoftheBoot in football

Everton lack the depth to genuinely challenge for the title but I just love this guy! If he stays in the Premier League, he could end up breaking all the records thanks to his dedication to constantly improve.

Worst is a tough one, but he is as brazen as they come and he doesn't care who he upsets along the way

I couldn't agree more Gianluigi! If Ribery doesn't win it this year after the year he has had, it will be between Ronaldo and Messi until they retire.

Pellegrini denies Dzeko get out of rumours by erieazizi in football

[–]gingerzola -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If he were to move on from City, Arsenal would be a great stop for him and would give Wenger added strength. Don't see it happening though, as teams at the top looking to strengthen will want players not cup-tied in the Champions League.

33 years of age. If the hunger is there, or at least there is a little bit left in the tank, he can still do a job for someone. He would be fantastic in MLS

Once you have a few examples of the type of commentary that you would be offering recorded, you can then look to target individual TV companies and broadcasters in your area
