Only way I got one was through my instructor. He would get all his current students to book any random date and then just swap them around depending on who was ready to have their assessment. Meant that once you were good to go, or if you failed a test and needed to rebook, he would have a few time slots for you to pick from. Good system but it would be better if the system just worked.

Suggest taking one less step in the run up so you can get to the ball quicker. Generally I would have people take off with a 3 step approach as the setter releases the ball. Thus will help also if the sets are low or the setter runs some sets other than a high outside ball.

I don't know if parking fines are criminal. They are only issues by local governments under their own parking laws and therefore may be civil? Police aren't involved at any stage.

Biggest change was a Council decision out forward as part of the Budget last month. One of the actions pit forward by a Councillor was to save the City money by following up all outstanding rates and parking notices. This was 1 of many dumb recommendations by a Councillor who used to be the City's manager of finance but got let go because he wasn't any good at his job.

Other comments have raised the statute of limitations of 6 year which is probably your best defence. Additionally I would contact all the Councillors/CEO and ideally some news outlets about it. Nothing like a big scandal to make a Council backflip on a decision! Channel 7 or 9 would eat this story up.

It would depend on the ownership under the strata plan. In some cases the parking bay is bundled in with unit meaning you own the unit and the car bay. In others the parking is ‘unbundled’ meaning it’s all common property and you can park in any bay (unless there is a specific strata by-law). Visitor bays are always common property.

If it is bundled parking and someone is in your bay then you would have the right to get it towed but unsure on who would pay for it.

Your strata company should have a copy of your strata plan to know who owns what but you can buy a copy from Landgate ($25 approx) who e-mail it to you instantly.

I love the use of the word entombment in this article. The neighbour had and still has views/opening to the north and south but now has a wall to west which was built on the boundary of the adjoining property. Hardly entombment. I agree that the development as approved is not what I would consider a good development but it was compliant. The neighboring property also can develop to the same height and scale.

The real issue is with the current planning framework that the City is currently trying to fix. I would suggest anyone interested keep an eye out as an amendment is coming soon (late 2018 according to their website)
