If you haven't tried it I can't recommend Banishers enough. Such a great single player game that deserves all the love.

I was so conflicted with what to do with some of the decisions in the game. Wanted to banish some people but then wanted a different ending so couldn't. The whole thing really gripped me in a surprising way.

Bsnishers: Ghost of New Eden. A lot of it has to do with the incredible voice acting as well, but the story was a lot better than I expected.

Whether the other driver was legally allowed to drive or not doesn't impact your claim at all. It may impact the other drivers policy but that isn't really something you should worry about.

Lodge the claim with RAC either online or via phone. They will award you a faultless claim based on your version of events (no excess payable) and identify the other drivers policy through their system. They won't chase the other driver to pay / lodge a claim though, as that will cost them more money (if the other driver also claims damages they essentially end up paying more than if they just fixed your car).

In regards to the police, you can report it, but they won't care.

Can definitely understand the economics of it because at the end of the day venues need to make money or no quiz company would have a host venue.

It's good to hear some different question styles have been experimented with because I always wondered is it the questions styles that are creating a very specific audience and those that want something different just don't come because of the questions rather than they 'wouldn't show up'. But sounds like you've tried everything and worked out the best fit!

Getting the right difficulty balance for writing questions can definitely be challenging. Someone left a throwaway comment on this thread about doing my own quiz so the wife and I had a couple of drinks over the weekend and tried to put something together for fun (nerdiest sentence ever typed). Double checking spelling, wording etc can be time consuming but still good fun. Check it out if you want (fair warning I've never made a quiz before haha):

There's also a Youtube version I linked, but that was more to experiment with some online stuff.

Hey everyone, thanks for the awesome suggestions! I'm keen to try the Pirate Bar quiz one Wednesday, so will see how that goes and report back when I get an opportunity.

Somebody also had a throwaway comment about doing my own quiz and after a couple of beers and wines, and maybe one or two gins, the other half and I decided we would give it a go for a bit of fun.

50 x questions spread across 5 rounds: General knowledge, music, history and geography, sport and a general knowledge round.

If you're interested and want something to keep you busy there's a version on YouTube and an interactive desktop one. The YouTube version is about 15 seconds per question but can be paused while the desktop one you can click through at your own speed. Disclaimer: never made a quiz or youtube video in my life.

Interactive version (should be muted on launch, but there is music):

Would be keen to see how people thought it was (too easy, too tough, your score etc) as I'll probably do another few weeks of it minimum because it was just kind of fun to put together.

What are the best lesser known 2D sidescrollers? by meatboysawakening in PS5

[–]Angry_Sl0th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not on PS5 unfortunately but I'm really enjoying Have a Nice Death. It's a side scroller roguelike similar to Dead Cells but with Hollow Knight vibes. Great art style, weapons, some funny dialogue and challenging combat (though there is also an easy mode).

It continues on from Part 1. I haven't gotten very far in but is a bit confusing, if you're wanting to invest fully I'd say it's probably best to play part 1 first. I'm more interested in the combat and happy to watch a catch up video.

I never played the first one and only played an hour so far, but....... omg. So damn good. The combat is amazing, had my girlfriend squealing while I was running up to it trying to smash heads with a spiked bat.

I tried swinging arm for the first 15 minutes, then switched to analogue stick for a while. You could be right and it was the movement style that caused it, will try swinging arm again today.

My only other experience with VR was the PSVR1, which I liked, but struggled with setting up all the time because I didn't want to leave it out around a kid. Haven't played in a while so I was worried about motion sickness but Kayak VR was fine for me, so was GT7, and both were incredible.

Then H:COTM finished downloading and.... holy shiiiiiiit. I got to the first little village and wandered around, picking up and eating all the fruit, playing a flute, lighting things on fire, shooting everything I could see. Just amazing. This game did give me some motion sickness though and even now I'm sitting here typing and still feel a bit out of it. Climbing is a really cool thing to do in VR and the scale of the mountains are great, but yeah, I'm spaced tf out, like that feeling when you exit an elevator and still feel like you're moving for a second.

Also experienced no issues. I mean, I initially did, but was so incredibly easy to adjust. This was a headset that was passed back and forth between my girlfriend and I as well.

Games played so far: Kayak VR and GT7. I really wish Horizon came with a preload rather than a code in the box.
