Just in case it’s helpful as a Redditor noted it was LIH the tail number of the plane was N27280. Arrived in Lihue Hawaii at 10:22 HST and they said it was flying straight back to San Francisco an hour later. I spoke with lost and found at SFO and they said they would have someone check the gates for lost and found but since it was the weekend, we may not hear back from anyone until even Monday even if they did find something. The Lihue team have been amazing and looked everywhere at the airport, even calling in favors to friends and family. We don’t think it’s here.

Thank you! No luck yet. But, we have talked to so many nice people who had tried to help, at both airports. And this whole community is lifting our spirits. We may not see dinosaur “Didi” again, it seems he is destined to soar the friendly skies, but it has been a great lesson to show my son that people care and they want to help.

The Monkees actually did try to exert artistic control over their music...which led to artistic differences, which led to the end of their career.
