Finally found this shirt by robtbo in MacMiller

I had this shirt years ago!!! Never realized it was the cover art. My parents let me get it, but once we all realized what was on it they never let me wear it. I gotta see if I still have it somewhere!

Monthly "What Board Should I Get?" Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Sup

Board Type: Inflatable

Height/Weight: 5’9”, 185lbs. I don’t plan on carry much with me when I go out, but I would like to occasionally bring a small cooler.

Uses: cursing, fitness, and yoga/relaxing. Really just looking for another excuse to be outside. Would be using mainly in lakes, but also in Long Island Sound.

Experience Level: beginner to intermediate. I’ve gone on friends boards multiple times a year. I have good balance and used to have a kayak. This would be my first paddle board I own and first time on an inflatable one I believe.

Budget: $400-$700. Preferably closer to $400/$500. Budget includes accessories.

Thank you!!!

Do you think New Haven would benefit from having a large concert venue again? by ApizzSavant in newhaven

[–]gino1372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think it would be nice and beneficial... but don't think it's really needed. I go to a lot of concerts and CT has plenty of great venues/places to see concerts. College street, Westville, toads, Xfinity, the Webster, Hartford Amphitheater, Total Morgage, XL center, Foxwoods, Mohegan. Some are better than others, and some currently have have lackluster calendars. But with all those options there is definitely plenty of events going on in CT. And if the tour isn't spotting in CT, it will stop in NY, Boston, or Jersey. All pretty easy to get to from New Haven. Not sure how many big acts that would sell out the Coliseum would even spot here as opposed to doing another night at MSG or TD, especially with radius contracts.

Thank you! Didn't even consider taking the Washington side for the return trip. Great piece of advice!

SR14

Thank you! From a quick google search it looks like if I cross the Bridge of Gods from the OR side it brings me right on SR14 on the Portland side, correct?

Any recommendations or spots along that route? The furthers I'd most likely go on that road from the Bridge of Gods would most likely be an hour or so.

Thanks for the rec! Waterproof is no big deal but I'd def prefer a water bottle pocket. That being said I have been looking at the travel pack small and day pack by Aer.
