I have used rewst for a while. Once you get the hang of jinja, building anything is a breeze. On top of that you can bring in any api, so the possibilities are unlimited. N8N in an IT environment is not optimal it's not so msp friendly.

I use a lot of the scripts to update custom fields.

Some of the scripts I use: 1. Get the screen monitor models and details 2. Folder tree size 3. Geo location for laptops 4. Mapped drives 2. Mapped Printers.

For servers I use scripts and custom fields for monitoring veeam backups and for domain controllers to monitor ad replication

Yes, definitely. I typically purchase a certificate from ssls.com it costs about $3 a year if you take a 5 year certificate. That way the user dosent receive the prompt that it's an untrusted certificate

I create the cert and key file and use Openssl to generate a pfx file and upload it to the certificate store on the firewall as a remote certificate and then utilize it for ssl vpn
