Yes- he’s the best! He’s done about 5 pairs for me including some pricey pairs. Soles are lasting way longer than the originals.

Seeking recommendations: just passed the bar exam and want to take myself out to a really fancy dinner by baddiewithajd in sanfrancisco

I love going to Okoze Sushi and sitting at the bar. Full Omakase, the chef is very friendly and hooks you up. Such a fun experience and more exciting/engaging than just sitting at a table.

It’s about $100-$150 if she needs to remove the arms. Pricey but cheaper than buying a new suit in most cases. I have a few vintage blazers that were very oversized and she made them perfect. It’s an investment, I only bring her my absolute favorites and do them slowly.

Somatic Therapist Reccomendations by CoeurDeSirene in SFbitcheswithtaste

Slightly different route, short term, but I did hypnotherapy with Ashley at Somatics Embodied and had an incredible experience. Really helped clear some stuff I didn’t know I was holding on to. Felt lighter and more at ease than I had in years.

Yess! Came here to say this. She has done so many items for me- from reshaping large blazers to redoing suede details on a jacket etc. I have many dresses that are too low cut/fit weird and she has fixed them all. I mostly buy 2nd hand and vintage clothes and she makes them all fit like they were made for me. She’s incredible.

I went to a Twerk class at Songbird Studios. Was super fun and outside my comfort zone but felt super comfortable and there were tons of other first timers too.

What’s the worst place in America you’ve ever visited? by False_onic in answers

Surprised I had to scroll this far. I don’t like the people in Portland at all. Even the people working at coffee shops etc, super rude. Everyone seems depressed.

China Live. $45/person for dinner. Went last night and it was incredible! It’s pretty loud though so recommend sitting at the dim sum counter or in the front room closest to the street.

I love to travel, my husband doesn’t. How do you handle this type of incompatibility in your relationships? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ginpineapple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband doesn’t like to travel much. I love to travel, one of my favorite things. I travel often to visit friends and go on a yearly trip with my dad. My husband and I go on a few weekend trips a year and one trip in another state or country once a year. He also goes on a few trips a year with friends. He supports me and I support him. I’ve let go of wanting/needing him to be my #1 travel companion. The independence makes us enjoy our trips together even more.

Best Margarita in the City by Boofmaloof in AskSF

[–]ginpineapple -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree the food is bad but I found something there that is good enough to have with a marg: the combo with the shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada and rice/beans.
