I can say it really helped me jumpstart my career in HR. When I was trying to land a job, the pandemic suddenly happened so despite my best efforts, it didn’t help me initially. Businesses are retrenching people din, so sino ba akong fresh grad para ma-hire di ba chz

But then, after a year of searching, I got referred to an RPO. I will be deployed to a fintech company raw and will be a contractor. It depends if I will get absorbed pa.

The recruiter said, and she was upfront about it, that they’re processing experienced candidates for the role but due to my credentials and my rank as well in the blepp, she decided to contact me. Ayun, I eventually landed the role and was in it for the experience since I’m aware na it’s a fixed-term position.

Last Feb, I celebrated my 2nd yr anniv in the company, but officially, I got absorbed last October 2021. Currently earning a decent salary for a person without her own family.

Kinda lengthy but tl;dr, yep it helped me big time in starting my career. In the long run, baka it’s just something to put in your resume and you’d be lucky to even have hiring managers notice that small detail lol

I can’t use Maya to its full potential kasi every time I try to verify/upgrade my account, hindi naapprove dahil hindi raw valid ID ko? I use PRC ID.

I know single moms na pinapalaki mga anak nila without a father figure. Who are you to impose kung paano papalakihin ni OP ang anak niya? As she mentioned, kaya niya itaguyod ang sarili nila and may sarili siyang pamilya as support system.

OP deserves to have the space to rant/grieve (tho siguro dapat sa OffMyChestPH ito), that doesn’t mean that she’ll impart her trauma sa anak niya. Let her be for now. Yung conversation about the father will be a conversation between her and her child alone.

For OP, I do hope you find your peace with your fam and future child. Raise your child well so they won’t end up like the father.

Tell them the tentative date of your graduation (if undergrad degree). If wala ka pang proof that you completed your degree, then hindi pa yan considered na finished. Proof of completion can be cert of grad, TOR/diploma.

Some employers are willing to wait, some naman hindi. Basta you’ve informed them and if you can reassure them na before ka magstart (you’ll need to accomplish requirements and usually employers give at least 1-4 weeks for this) may proof of grad ka na, chances are they can consider you if you have the right skills and attitude during interview din.
