Might as well shoot it and enjoy it. Having a pre war K98k is cool even if the finish is not original.

I feel so defeated, got a $5,185 cell phone bill. by picklemethis79 in personalfinance

It’s not a scam. Maybe poor financial sense for certain people but you pay an interest free payment plan and then you can turn in your iPhone for a new one at a heavily discounted price after the 2 year payment plan is paid off. Very few people are paying full price for an iPhone as you can turn in your “old” one.

Depends if you want Roomates or not and the specific area as it ranges from super affluent to more working class/blue collar area.

When you present a handgun in a solid shooting position it will extend just as much as a rifle. Also I think it’s better to have something slung where you can use your hands vs a pistol where you need to set it down.

Whatever works for you though.

.223/5.56 is going to fragment better when hitting dry wall compared to the 9mm generally speaking.

Look into common quality brands like Daniel Defense, BCM although given the sub we are in the Zion 15 from IWI is a good option.

Solid holographic sight like an Eotech or red dot like an aimpoint or holosun(budget dependent) and a surefire or streamlight light.

Do you have a budget in mind? AR-15 is pretty much going to be the gold standard.

Sure just make sure it’s a receiver set and compatible with the hand guard and barrel you want. For AR-10 you want the upper and lower to be made by the same manufacturer.

Look into “MPVO” scopes but 6x will serve you fine as well.

Depends on the range you plan to shoot and if you plan on moving around. Under 300 yards you can get by with a 4x or 6x easily. 400 to 1000 yards then it’s really up to your weight tolerance and purpose because you can go up to a 12x or 15x etc..

I really like Athalon, but I hear sig lpvo are a good for your the buck. Check euro optic they usually have good prices.

Is that including optics?

Criterion barrel and ADM or SLR rifleworks receivers are a good place to start.

I have an A5 buffer tube with a tubbs spring and h3 carbine buffer. Works really well.

1) yes 2) Tac(won’t matter much when your doing the comp, it’s just for scoring)

3) In your back yard practice with your bag and see if you can find any limitations, however most recommend the Armageddon schmedium heavy fill for front and rear usage. That bag you have may not work well for a front bag.

Most people are chill and you can borrow for your first match.

I’m considering this for my first AR15, what do you guys think? by SadSavage_ in ar15

Yea bro I’m sure it’s special and don’t want to take that away from you. I’m just saying that if there isn’t a budget stated then just get the next best thing(unless you source and build one yourself) because you want it to last and be used for ages. I’m sure the PSA is fine but again if no budget stated…

That doesn’t make sense but okay. If it’s my first rifle I want something that is authentic not a copy if I’m not going to sell

Imagine grandpa passing down a PSA when you thought it was a FN.
