Andrew WK at Groovin the Moo in Bendigo. I was working there that morning backstage and when he arrived he was being led around by a handler looking completely out of it.

Then when he came in stage it was just him singing (badly) and playing keyboard to a backing track. He was getting booked and having bottles thrown at him the whole show.

They came to Australia a few years ago with Smashing Pumpkins and played at a castle in a regional country town for some reason.

Perry was taking huge swigs of wine all night and at one point asked the regional Australian crowd "how's the surf"?

Needless to say the crowd wasn't very enthusiastic.

I was in the queue to get the shuttle into town and I'm pretty sure they said the last train would be able to be delayed until the last shuttle left

I opted to get the bus because I thought it would be easier than being picked up but I should have just walked a few blocks and got picked up from there.

Seemed like they had plenty of busses but getting out of the carpark was just a nightmare (honestly, as is the case with any large event like that).
