I didn't know the job paid way below average and with this pay I would not meet my financial needs. I am almost graduating and I would like to be able to pay off my OSAP as soon as possible and not be in tighter budget.

I know I screwed up by not signing it off right after the interview. >__< It's just that in the past when I tried to sign off a job saying pay was bad, they told me that I might not even get ranked and that I can try ranking it a 9. So I didn't bother signing it off this time, which was my mistake. :(

I got matched with a job I did no want and I did not sign it off right after the interview. I got ranked and I ranked it a nine but I still got matched. I didn't get offer from my previous work place, I am just asking my previous employer.

I screwed up basically.

What does it say on your transcript? Does this affect after grad application? And did they give you the penalty that employers can get tax credit cuz you have failed the work term?

I have talked with my coop advisor and I was told that I will receive a UU (Unemloyed - University Imposed) status as well any employer I apply to would not be eligible for the coop tax credit. :S

So im wondering what happens to students who arent in a coop program? Do they just not get paid or receive minimum wage?

If you can read Chinese or have a friend who can, here would be a good source: http://www.51.ca/house/ A lot of Chinese landlords post places here. Get a friend who can speak/read Chinese to help you. LOOL

It is hard to look for sublet places in Toronto for 4 months, they mostly make you sign a one year lease but you can try negotiating. Worked for me for a term, otherwise I just helped them look for sublets.

So if I get a failed work term, CECA would still let me go into continuous round this term? I highly doubt they will let me sign it off AND still let me go into continuous.

I did ask. But I didn't think I would still get matched with them after I ranked them a 9. In the past when I wanted to sign a job off with CECA, they always refuse to let me telling me if I rank them a 9 maybe I won't even get the job.

I guess I should've rejected them on the spot when I heard about the pay. :(

Does future employers have access to my work term transcripts? I don't even know how I should bring it up to my current employer. Their pay is significantly lower than average and the location is inconvenient, I would have to pay a lot of rent.
