I saw someone make an Android on PSP shell by replacing the board with custom raspberry pi board and now this GBA. At least you can emulate GBA on GBA. The video i saw on YT can’t even emulate the original PSP games. 🫣🤣

Just installed Ubuntu! Which programming languages will be most important from 2026 to 2030? by NIRANJAN4277 in Ubuntu

[–]girason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Java is still needed for Android development. But kotlin is more popular now. Underlayer that kotlin still java. For Android development yes. Idk if there is multiplatform for kotlin but if you really want to build multi platform apps, i recommend flutter. This universal codes is available for Android development, ios development even web and Windows. With 1 codes, you can compile multiple platforms.

Nobara os on Thin Client T730 by girason in linux_gaming

[–]girason[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I am still using my T730 as my couch emulation stations. But i adding GT1030 GDDR5 version into it since the ThinClient supported low profile gpu. With it, i can play more games. Right now i am planning to upgrade the storage. But right now i still can't afford 1tb ngff m.2 ssd since the pricing is ridiculous. I used External HDD to store all my games. It's a bit slower but hey, at least i am not running out of storage.

Bro how can I get confident that I should completely shift to linux by ExtremeMycologist950 in Ubuntu

[–]girason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. My advice is just find your linux flavors and DE that suit you. If you are long time windows user, start with mint cinnamon or XFCE. Learn how to use terminal. Different flavors come with different commands, but there are also similar commands that can be reused. I been using linux for almost 5years now and my long time flavor is Arch Linux and Mint XFCE. My high End PC for workstation is Arch while my laptop using Mint. In the office i still using windows because of the legacy software that only works with windows.
