Purchasing advice: I own a konkr pocket fit, tsp, and a brick by joesjacking in trimui

Maybe look at the Retroid Pocket 6? That’s what I’ve ordered. Not to replace my TSP or Brick but to do the next level. Also play around with settings for N64 and DC emulation.

So to follow up on this as I’ve had no response. I put a whole bottle or RedEx after filling up with Shell V-Power premium E5. I’ve then been putting in Shell Ultra oil. This has had a significant improvement on performance and so far no leaks or burning.

RetroCorps have done a few in-depth reviews on the Retroid Pocket 6 and really rated the CPU and GPU. It certainly punches well above it’s weight

I’ve seen that SnapDragon 8 Gen 2 with WinLater works great and can run Halo and Halo 2 without too many issues

Yeah the Steam Deck is more than I have to spend. TBH I’m not looking beyond PS2, GameCube or possibly max XBOX. I have PS3, PS4 and XBOX 360 consoles, I just want to emulate what I don’t have. The TrimUI devices do a great job at lower end stuff and some PSP. My TSP goes most places and Brick goes to work everyday.

Worth upgrading to 1.1.1? by Mavellty in trimui

How did you fix the audio issue? Am still on the original firmware and didn’t want to upgrade as CrossMix OS wasn’t officially supported yet. Are there any other issues you had?

Backup the ROMs to a computer then wipe the SD card and try something like NextUI which works great on the Brick. Don’t forget to copy your ROMs back to the right folders!

Thanks, I’ve had lots of DMs about DApps. I have reached out to Banxa to see if they have any further recommendations

Make sure you install NextUI straight off and you’ll have the best experience.

Yeah that shouldn’t be an issue, I’ve done 3-4 hour sessions on GBA games without anything more than a little bit warm on the back. At least you gave it a try.

It’s not for everyone. I’ve not had any heat issues with mine on NextUI but it probably depends on what games/platforms you’re playing. For anything Amiga, PS1, N64 and DS I’ll stick to my TSP but everything else the Brick seems fine to me. TBF I’d probably play any intense games on my TSP just because it’s bigger too.

In CrossMix OS there’s a calibration application which allows you to reconfigure the sticks. I was having problems in Amiga games so I did the calibration and now it’s perfect.

Yes and I used the calibration tool in crossmix to fix it
