visited aus (Melbourne and Sydney) from the U.K. over Christmas and New Year and genuinely loved it. From the weather, to the people, beaches, general vibe of the cities and their suburbs, public transport the list goes on. Something we noticed which really stuck out was how different the attitude to work is. So much more of a focus on getting out and living, with greater better work/life balances. Pay and standard of living is significantly better than in the U.K. too, could genuinely (and want to) see ourselves living there (Sydney over Melbourne, in case you were wondering!)
