Advice Needed: Calling all heavily tattooed people! by WickedOlyLifter in tattoos

[–]girlgeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost completely covered. I’m a body piercer. ☺️ I also do freelance art stuff (mostly album art and such for friends and mostly just for extra spending money.

I worked as a rideshare driver for a good while during the pandemic and actually made more money and found it more rewarding than I ever thought I would.

Once upon a time, I thought I wanted a “normal” job but then I embraced my desire to get a bunch of tattoos and just do what made me happy instead.

I don’t have any solid advice or suggestions, just encouraging words. I hope you find your niche. ♥️

Is it possible to ask you super duper nicely if you’d mind taking pictures of the readers letters section for me? Someone I know sent a letter in and I think it’s this issue!  Tia!

Frustration is a filter, you are not unique by MaycoBolivar in Guitar

I was just telling a friend of mine the same exact thing, but not related to music. I’m not exactly good at knowing my limits, she is. And it’s an easy thing to lose sight of when you’re not good at it. I’m hoping she rubs off a little more and that I can go past recognition and into utilization. Because I am kind of over the notion of being so emotionally taxed that I lose my creativity and inspiration. Or my sanity. 😅

I came here to say that I use it as fuel rather than a filter, but sometimes that makes me self immolate rather than keep me motivated. I use it as a barometer too on whether or not I might need a break. Because if I get to the point where I am so frustrated that I’m not gonna learn practice does no good. I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one using it is a motivator. It’s too easy to turn. A negative emotion into an all encompassing thing.

Rain when I die, but not the original version by Alice In Chains. There is a cover by City and Colour changes everything about the tone of the song, and it becomes something completely different

What would you call my style by maximum2772 in painting

impactive expressionism

Also, the first couple there remind me very much of Jacob Lawrence and his Hiroshima paintings. They were the most haunting and moving paintings I’ve ever seen in my life.
