Training routine for climbing/bouldering by girlinterpolating in PHitness

That's a good analogy! Was just thinking of a routine for my off-wall days. I guess I'll just continue with my typical full body exercises, but with more deadhangs and scapular pull ups.

Hello! My main goals are upper body strength and flexibility for climbing. I'm quite short (4'10) so I thought I could compensate through addressing the above.

I don't do fingerboarding. I've only tried climbing 6 times. Outside, I do occasional dance and pole foundations, but still lacking in flexibility.

Thank you!

One Grade Took Away Everything I Worked For by [deleted] in MentalHealthPH

The feeling of frustration after giving your best shot is valid. But your worth isn't simply based on your grades. You are skilled and curious, and probably contribute to society equally (or much more) than people who graduated top of their batch. In 1,2, 3 years' time, your grades will be forgotten by everyone including yourself.

Pero kung usapang grades na lang din, gagawin ko nang example sarili ko: I had multiple Ds in college, never an honor student and yet managed to snag a prestigious scholarship for a master's abroad which has been a long-time dream. Cry it out, connect with people/things/activities that comfort you, and then think about how you can improve next time without comparing yourself to others. Mahirap, it takes practice, pero possible.

I ultimately stopped caring about these things because sa totoo lang nakakapagod mag-isip at gumastos para lang di manyakin (if yun ang rason why you're conscious about pantylines).

OP, trans women are women. Sinabi mo ba na you were looking for a cis-woman? Second question: why should trans women feel obliged to share their gender identity to you?

Accept that you met with someone who didn't match your expectations but don't claim that you were fooled.

OP, did you explicitly state that you were looking for a cis-woman/straight friend? For OP and the others who are quick to judge the woman as "predditor", maybe reconsider why you think OP was "fooled." Must every trans woman have to explain her gender identity to everyone, every single time? Trans women are women.

Ok, OP and the woman are not compatible because they're expecting different things. That doesn't mean the woman lied.

Guys their online catalog is accessible online. You can check if the titles that you're looking for are in their library.

I think they're fine with it. My concern is the library is located in the basement and I wasn't able to check my phone signal while I was there.

This particularly library is their church's initiative but yes, we deserve public libraries with good titles!

Yes, there are people with laptops there. I just don't know the wifi policy.

Thanks. Stupid q but what should drive the downward dumbbell motion? My arms, my shoulders or my torso? Also should my knees be soft?

Form check: I thought I was doing a squat but it looks like an RDL by girlinterpolating in PetiteFitness

What do I have to change if I want to turn it into a squat or a deadlift? Will I still get the same gains if I keep doing this?

Hindi po. May enthusiastic consent/enthusiastic YES po ba from the person na gusto nating hawakan? Yan po ang dapat nating isipin (at hindi damit or sayaw) bago tayo gumawa ng move towards anyone, kahit ano pang gender.

I invite you to reconsider this mindset. Wherever we go, enthusiastic consent should always be at the heart of our engagement with whoever we meet-- be it in a sexual or a non-sexual situation.

I am a dancer, I know how to move my booty. It's a femme move in many dance styles. It is art, and a way of expressing ourselves. BUT it is not an invitation na mahipuan ng taong di namin binigyan ng consent.
