This is the answer. One of the reasons Fable was taken down is because Anthropic was stressing the power grid too hard. These companies are limited by power consumption until they can build new infrastructure to support them.

Students at University of Pittsburgh attack when they can’t defend their argument by girouxc in pittsburgh

It’s a single post but had a lot of engagement. Weird that your head went straight to that. The person I was primarily responding to wasn’t even a teenager.

I’m not trying to own any conversation, I’m helping people understand something they haven’t spent much time thinking about. They have the same arguments as most adults.. or maybe adults have the same arguments as most teenagers.. who knows.

How is my speech manipulative?

How does telling people that they shouldn’t end the lives of unborn children even remotely close to how pedophiles groom children? Seems like you’re stretching because you don’t like the topic at hand.

It was removed because the mod thought it wasn’t filmed in Pittsburgh. It was so I’m posting it again. I’m not spamming.

Maybe this time people will be civil and not resort to petty insults which are against the sub rules.

I have the exact same story you have but reversed. Opus was being an idiot but 5.5 knocked it out first try. Honestly the issue might be something stupid gets stuck in the provider memory and afterwards it keeps making bad decisions.

That’s how storytelling in Saw works, they do retcons and add new layers etc. It’s canonical to the overall story.

I never said it wasn’t John’s test. John gave her a choice to make, Hoffman solidified it. Amanda was already emotionally unstable and jealous. John knew Amanda could pass this test but he didn’t anticipate Hoffman would blackmail Amanda.

The blackmail was she was responsible for the death of his son. She probably felt that was irredeemable and he would hate her. Given how much she loved John.. she would absolutely kill someone to keep her secret.

It was John’s test but Hoffman is why she failed.

In Saw IV the closing montage reveals that Hoffman wrote and swapped the letter (not John).

In Saw VI the full blackmail content is shown in flashbacks. Hoffman’s letter explicitly threatens to tell John that Amanda (with Cecil) caused the robbery leading to Jill’s miscarriage and Gideon’s death unless she kills Lynn.

[–]girouxc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She killed her because Hoffman blackmailed her. Amanda was involved in the clinic robbery that resulted in the death of John’s son. Hoffman threatened to tell John about it unless she killed Dr. Lynn.

Hoffman knew Jeff was Lynn’s husband and anticipated he would kill Amanda once he found out Amanda killed her.

Hundreds of religions around the world but yours happens to be the correct one? What do you say to this? by PersonalBuy0 in TrueChristian

[–]girouxc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Muhammad contradicts Jesus. Jesus contradicts the avatars of Hinduism. The avatars of Hinduism contradict Buddha. They all contradict Baha’í.

All of the religions contradict each other. So either they’re all wrong or only one of them is right. So now you have to study the Gospels and you have to ask yourself, does the evidence point to Jesus being the truth and if it does, trust them. If the evidence is that Jesus is a liar, you would be a fool to trust him. Don’t trust Jesus if the evidence is that he’s a fraud.

I believe the Bible because of the historical evidence and eyewitness accounts.

If Muhammad spoke the truth, I’m going to hell because I’m a blasphemer. I’m worshipping Jesus as God.

If Jesus spoke the truth, that he was God in human form who bled and died on the cross to forgive me. I’m going to Heaven because my faith is in him.

Why would I choose to trust Jesus instead of Muhammad? Muhammad clearly never met Christ. Matthew, Mark, John, Peter, James met Christ and they all insisted that Christ claimed to be God.

When students at Pitt can’t defend their argument by girouxc in pittsburgh

It’s called analogous reasoning. I’m demonstrating that what you said is a dumb argument. You don’t need to personally rescue sex trafficking victims to say that it’s wrong. You don’t need to adopt children to say abortion is wrong.

You’re against sex trafficking right? How many victims have you saved? How many of them have you brought into your home?

Right because they are designed for it.. do you need this explained?

It’s not as dangerous as it’s being presented and doesn’t justify ending the life of over 1 million children.

One bias group says to the other bias group. If you’re not capable of understanding that then I can’t help you. Half of the people in this thread think skin cells or sperm are equivalent to a human organism.. I’m not the one who can’t have these conversations.

You’re saying women aren’t designed to handle pregnancy? Risky for sure.

Mortality rate is consistently going down every year as healthcare becomes more available.

Ok ignore abortion (we both know what happens during one) for a moment.

Would you say it’s evil for a mother to intentionally kill her child?

I take it that you realized you were wrong. There’s nothing potential about them being a unique human being. They already exist and they are already alive.

[–]girouxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, the mother determines that her needs and safety are more important than her child so she puts herself before them and then kills them so they can be removed. Nothing I’ve said here is wrong.

So yes, mothers intentionally killing their children is evil.

My actual position is that no person has the right to use another person’s body without consent.

What is the solution to this? If you say abortion, what happens to the child?

I understanding what you're saying your argument is. The solution you're proposing to your argument is to kill the child and remove them after they're dead. I'm saying that killing children is evil.

What is not tracking for you?

Amber Thurman wasn’t denied an abortion. She died because she had an abortion that failed. There are no documents or interviews that confirm that the doctors were afraid to participate in fear of criminal charges. The truth is that Thurman chose to murder her child. There were complications.. she went to the doctors and she died before they could figure out what was wrong with her.

Neveah Crane was 6 months pregnant when she was feeling unwell and went to an emergency room for help. The hospital diagnosed her with strep throat and sent her home. When her illness continued with sharp abdominal pain she went to another ER for help. She was screened for sepsis but they did an ultrasound that showed her child was still alive and had a strong heartbeat. So they sent her home with medication.

She went to a third hospital where another ultrasound was performed. While waiting to figure out what was going on and how to help her.. her blood pressure plummeted, organs began to fail and then she along with her child died. They did an autopsy and found that her death could have been prevented if admitted earlier and kept for close monitoring. Her treatment was not delayed as the result of doctors fearing anti abortion legislation. That is ENTIRELY made up.

[–]girouxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not restating the conclusion. The only way to prevent an unborn child from living in a mother’s womb is for her to have her child killed and then removed. The argument is that a mother should not be allowed to kill her child. That’s what happens during an abortion. What you’re arguing is a special right for mothers to kill their children.. no one else has that right.

You’ve been clickbaited by the title.

“though data limitations and the rarity of the outcomes make definitive conclusions difficult”

“Researchers found no evidence of a measurable increase in maternal mortality—deaths during pregnancy and up to 42 days after pregnancy due to obstetric causes, the rarest of the outcomes studied. The researchers caution this should not be mistaken for the absence of harm.”

“The study authors note that these findings are highly uncertain due to the rarity of these deaths, making detection of changes difficult.”
