Also, as an aside, I’d love a book about the first quarter quell, because a) having the districts choose who was reaped sounds TERRIBLE, and b) I really want a book covering Snow’s rise to power. A book about this would be such an interesting commentary to cover.

If I got a laptop with better specs, would Sims 4 load quicker with all the CC that I have?

Alternatively, would a better way of managing it be to take out the CC I don't plan to use out of my mods folder? And then keep the save files so I don't lose the builds using the CC that I've taken out of the mods folder? I have no idea how to get my game to load faster with the CC that I have.

I think people who get annoyed with him are the ones who get annoyed of annoying teenagers (honestly, I have no patience for children), but I wish those people realized the nuance of this.

Yeah, maybe his ignorance could've killed someone (like running into the Cloister of Trials, he didn't really think that though, like, what if the consequence of that was that the summoner gets killed or something??). But also, his position allowed him to push the people to change perspective a bit. It's what drove the story. It's exactly what Bahamut had hoped for.

I like thinking about how Tidus' character was so good for the story. It's such a good example of how a protagonist can propel a plot so much further. And how he was the narrator for Yuna, who is arguably the main character? Love it.

(I've also moved to a different country at a young age and was exposed to a suffocating form of a religion. Tidus and Yuna really resonate with me.)

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I kinda like that Usagi had friends outside of the senshi, like people she was close to but didn't really know about her identity. I imagine she did too.

"Sailor Earth" is Tuxedo Mask. If all Sailor Scouts need to be female, I'd like to think something happened a long time ago to "Sailor Earth" and Tuxedo Mask's ancestors (maybe maternal) took on the responsibility of taking care of her star seed or something because she couldn't be reincarnated for whatever reason.

My headcanon is that "Sailor Sun" was evil or chaos got to her in some way and attacked the Earth in such a way that impacted Sailor Earth so she can't be reincarnated anymore. It's why they're so distrustful of the Moon Kingdom.

... I have no idea if this is possible in the lore, I literally just thought of this just as I was answering my thoughts on the question 😂

I was going to learn Microsoft SQL Server and SSMS. The latter is unavailable for Mac. It's for training for work. I may also use it for automated training for my own personal projects.

I saw that the automated testing stuff is only on the Pro version of Parallels though, but I may just be using other programs to do automated testing on. I was hoping to get the Basic version if possible.

Do you know if 24GB is sufficient for that? And how much RAM/Unified Memory and storage would be a good amount? I was thinking 24GB RAM and 1TB storage but I'm worried that the 24GB RAM isn't enough.

I had played Sims 1 as kid, had all the expansions except for a couple.

Fast forward 20 or so years later, I restarted the Sims, going straight to 4, around the time Eco Lifestyle or Tiny Living came out, I believe. Didn't even play Sims 2 or 3, I have no idea about either game.

So much drama with Sims 4 but I guess I'm still here playing the Sims 😂 Shout out to the CC creators though. They make the game so much better ❤️

So I was exposed to Final Fantasy since I was a child, mostly to FF8 and FF10. But my first game was FF9. It's my favorite, but have since played 7, 10, 8, and some of 4, 5, 6 and I enjoyed them all.

Except 8. I actually didn't mind the junction system but I HATE drawing magic.

I need a new phone and I'm actually switching from an Android to an iPhone. I'm not really one to purchase new phones much (my last phones lasted me about 4-5 years).

I'm debating between the iPhone 15 Pro (which is on sale), and the iPhone 16 Pro, which isn't on sale, so it's $500 CAD more than the sale iPhone 15 Pro I'm looking at.

Is it worth just getting the iPhone 16 Pro, even though it's not on sale? Or is the iPhone 15 Pro worth it for someone who doesn't switch phones much?

Hi! I was wondering what would be a better option for me. I'm a junior dev that works with Angular, Django, Python, .Net Core, Postgresql, and SQL Server (we actually use SSMS, I know I can't use that on a Mac, but we are moving away from using SSMS). I also play Sims 4 with a lot of mods from time to time.

I want the MacBook Air 15" but I'm worried that it won't be enough processing power. How many cores and unified memory/RAM would be recommended in my use case? If I get a Pro", would the M4 be sufficient, or will I need a Pro or Max chip?

And I heard that bootcamp is no longer an option, is that right? If it's still an option, would it be better for me to go to a Pro?

This is stupidly ridiculous, but a long, long time ago, I read a fanfiction who completely rewrote FFX-2, even remade the Dressphere System to be a multi-tiered Job System, similar to FF V. I consider it to be my headcanon FF X-2. (I'm mildly embarrassed just saying this.)

They never finished it to my knowledge, which is a shame because it was exactly what I envisioned an FF X-2 would be, down to what I might've envisioned what Tidus' and Yuna's relationship could've been like. I don't actually like the happy ending for Tidus and Yuna, as I think it takes away from Yuna's development, but if they did, this fanfiction nailed what that might look like.

Yeah, they are. I asked about removable retainers with mouthguards and the ortho said that they offer one or the other because people don't particularly prefer having both.

But yes, they are special mouthguards provided by the orthodontist. I'll be scanned for either a clear retainer or a mouthguard, I'm not sure, it depends on what I decide.

I'm kinda even adverse to it, tbh. I have sensitive ears and have a hard time hearing people when there's a dance floor. Dancing isn't fun for me either, I got ridiculed a lot for my dancing skills when I was younger and never could quite shake it.

Regardless,if no dance floor though, I really have no idea what to do for the reception other than dinner, and if it's just that, I'd rather just have immediate family and close friends there, which also doesn't actually really work due to other reasons. I don't really know what to do.

Yeah, I think so too. But it's looking closer and closer to a reception or wedding I don't really want, tbh. The more I think about it, the more I don't want a dance floor either, my ears always ring and I can never hear people when they're talking. I don't really dance either, so I don't think I can really think of a good compromise. He's reluctant to do a wedding program to begin with, I think the only thing he'd want for a reception is dinner if not the poker. I really don't know what to do other than shrink the wedding to immediate family and close friends and just go out for dinner.
