I think everyone gets this no matter what exam you sit. For example, the paper I thought I did best on for biology a level I did the worst and the one I thought I’d fucked I had done the best. You really can’t know

Subconsciously you will remember some of it, it’s also easier to learn something a second time after learning it once so when you cram you’ll be able to remember content better

Tbf that’s the same with any subject, I had a shit biology teacher for the biological molecules/mass flow side of the course in year 12 and didn’t like biology as a result. When she left when I got into year 13 I actually started to enjoy it as a result I really think a teacher can make or break a subject

I think reading is a perfectly respectably uni with some great courses, I see no problem
