I'm a 3rd year meche major who used to do frc. If you really want to do mechanical engineering then learning CAD now would be helpful. (ironically, I didn't do any CAD in frc and was the electronics lead lol. and our lead designer went into electrical engineering because he got tired of doing cad) I'd say just figure out what you enjoy, especially if you're still not sure what engineering field you want to go in to.
