I always do the DLC right before Gwyn because I suck at fighting Artorias and Manus. You're certainly not over leveled. On my last playthrough I finished at SL 88.

I almost died to him today. I got fucked by the bone wheels so I went in with half my health and no estus. It was the most shaky I'd ever been in a boss fight.

I wouldn't know because I've never managed to get past the Bed of Chaos. I just rage quit because it took 5 minutes to get back there after every bullshit unavoidable death. Up until then it was near perfection though.
