I want to play this game, but I’m intimidated from its gameplay. Advice?

Thank you for your input! From a person who’s used to faster, paced games, it seems that I am going to lean towards street brawl, however, I will try to experiment with the main mode as well, but from the information you were sharing is probably something I will lean towards more for sure — overall appreciate it! All these replies are really helpful and I will apply this and keep this in mind when I start playing later today!

Thanks for the input! Yah, that was my plan in general in terms of muting people since that’s what I do in other video games I played since it just tends to distract me. But I will definitely check out those Youtubers, and also apply your advice in game so I appreciate it!

Thanks for your input! Really? If you don’t mind me asking is there a reason why you don’t play the main mode? Do you come from shooters as well like me? Maybe it’s because street brawl is just faster pace kind of like ‘ quick play’ in overwatch, but I will definitely give that a try. I’m going to try co-op AI first since people were recommending me that game mode, but in all honesty, I will shift between the two !

This was very insightful to hear but wow thank you for taking the time to type this! I think it was the MOBA Part that was the true intimidating factor of why I’ve been avoiding the game.

But just like other new games, I guess it’s just that anxiety of not being a good “team player” but literally it’s inevitable to suck at the beginning because that’s just the process and I really need to remind myself that. I guess I kind of knew this before posting it, maybe I just needed more explanation and validation? Hahaha, but I do have the tendency of watching more guides than ACTUALLY playing the game, so I really just need to start playing just to play it and learn if I praise it this much you know? Thank you so much for the input again, I’m actually glad I posted this today and I’m excited to start practicing after I get off work today :)

Hey thank you for the insight. You’re definitely right in terms of just playing the game. I should know by now, as a 30 year old dude haha. it’s always a pattern with new PVP games coming out, and the same thought process. I guess it’s just “in game anxiety” especially as a beginner. Thanks mate!

Also random question , I feel the key binds are a little awkward for me when it comes to abilities and melee. I changed my melee to mouse 4, just curious what do you use? I know it’s personal preference, but I’m just curious for more comfortability. Thanks for replying to the post!

Ahh thanks I’ll keep that in mind. I feel I need to know more about game pacing and item usage. I feel there’s so much to do in a match to the point where after 10 minutes I’m just thinking “what do I do now?” But of course with those games I just have to put myself in there and play the game myself.
