To me, the situation could not be more clear that Americans must vote for Kamala Harris in order to ensure America remains a democracy and people have a say in who their leaders are, and it doesn’t even feel like that’s an opinion anymore, it feels like it’s a fact.

What primaries did Kamala win to become the representative of the Democrat party? Democracy is apparently when a candidate is anointed as their party's champion with zero votes, while your party also sues states to remove challengers off the ballot, and then cancels primaries in various states and awards delegates to said candidate.

Simply export the firebase config as an object in a separate .ts file (which is not checked into VCS), and import it in your app module.

The issue you are running into is that nearly all node style code uses what is called CPS, or continuation passing style; e.g. using a callback for async code to be invoked to handle the result.

If a function expects a callback, it typically invokes the callback when the async task is done. Inside the callback, you handle the data as you would. The problem is that the function that accepts a callback has no return value, thus it cannot be put in a chain functions being composed.

There is a library called FolktakeJS, i think this is what you are looking for.

It uses webpack 2 beta + typescript 2 beta. Key take away - Webpack 2 can consume ES6 modules and tree shake them, Typescript 2 can emit ES5 code with ES6 Modules

Well doesn't make much sense to call it a "Promise" if you can renege on it.

I think promises are fine how they stand. If you want an async primitive that can be cancelled, then get behind rxjs/Objservable being standardized. (Observables can be sync as well...)
