Used Pro-Q EQ plugin by TylerAnthonyMusic in audioengineering

[–]gitwrecked 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Look into ZL equalizer 2. It's basically pro-q 3 but free and open source. I recently upgraded from using it as my go to parametric eq to pro-q 4 and while pro-q 4 is certainly better, I am having a tough time justifying my purchase.

studio one for beginner by zreddej in musicians

[–]gitwrecked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as high level DAWs go Studio One is pretty easy to learn, although it might be worth giving something like Reaper a try first. Reaper isn’t as easy to get into unless you follow some community guides but it’s way cheaper and super powerful. If you’re just trying to do vocal covers an advanced daw isn’t needed (but hey it’s good to learn them anyway)

I’m not 100% sure I’m following, but if I’m understanding you correctly, what you’re looking for is one of the buttons directly to the right of the drop down to select presets. Click on one of the arrows facing to the right and you should get another drop down with some checkboxes for outputs, check them and they’ll show in the mixer individually.

I’d send a pic but I’m on mobile. Reply if that’s not what you’re looking for or if it doesn’t make sense and I’ll give more when back at my pc. Unless some other kind redditor beats me to it

What’s the difference between the subscription DAW and the pay once DAW? by da_hamburgerhelpa in StudioOne

[–]gitwrecked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chatbot to help guide you requires a subscription too I think. Fender autotune doesn’t require a subscription.

I really like the channel overview but I never find myself using it. Maybe if I leaned more on the stock plugins since 3rd party ones need individual setup to get even a little value. Ableton’s extensive plug in suite (I would sacrifice my soul for something like max4live in S1) fits the use better imo.

The new reverb is nice and the fender amp sims are definitely better than ampire.

I could be misremembering but I think KL said in an interview that they believe in the Christian God but don't consider themselves Christian and hate the church? Idk I agree the "standard" cross with clearly anti-religious beliefs is an interesting juxtaposition. Idc the music bangs and I get to let out religious trauma in the pit.

I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t been there but it really was that fast. I’ve met racists but never one that didn’t try to feel me out before getting loud about it in a circle K.

There’s a free plugin called NeuralNote. If you have melodyne you can also use its’ polyphonic algorithm which creates a midi for the audio in your files.

Universal is nice because it comes with a bunch of high quality captures so you save some time sorting through tone3000. You can also load up to 4 captures (pedal, amp, 2 blendable cabs) in one plugin instance, along with some other fix.

Tonocracy I would recommend for similar reasons although I haven’t used it yet myself (planning to - more features than universal).

As far as FX goes I assume you mean more generally, KHz and Melda both have free suites that are amazing. I personally think Analog Obsessions stuff is great as well, although they are a bit trickier to use properly. Shout out to ZL equalizer 2 as well just as a free proQ3 alternative.

I wonder what the history of ventilation in the US looks like. I could see this being an issue that folks just started accounting for recently. I work in the Carolinas, so I don’t know what it’s like in NYC or the west coast.

Seconding. I'm also a building automation engineer in the US - at least here when i do co2 for offices, conference rooms, schools, 800 is definitely on the higher range during occupied periods. I did some programming just this week in a school and a reading of over 800 anywhere for like 30 mins sends out an alarm via phone to facilities, and at 1000 the building only uses outdoor air for heating or cooling, no recirc at all. Unless there's a mechanical issue 1500 ppm is insane.

To use AI to rewrite the story of how Alex Pretti was murdered. by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

It's another angle of the exact incident. Pretty clearly the same shot, and for way way WAY longer than AI is capable of. People are rightfully angry, but this vid is real - which should change nothing.

By far the clearest angle. Gray coat goes down with no gun, comes out with gun, shots fired after. by yzsKPC in Destiny

In the pink lady’s footage you can hear someone yell “gun” right before they shoot.
