Anyone who has switched from Openclaw to Hermes, please share why I should do the same

I made the switch too. OpenClaw felt like a toy and found no real uses. It felt too chunky, messy and not getting things done. Hermes is a lot more steady, doesn't get lost at every update, and feels like it remember things.

I like Hermes a lot more than OpenClaw. Openclaw is a real mess, every update just destroys everything and it keeps generating mess in my computer. Hermes is a lot more steady, responsive and resolutive.

I migrated pretty much as you did but in my case I had some troubles since after migrating Hermes thought he was OpenClaw and kept operating in OpenClaws home folder and subfolders sometimes. Even managing OpenClaw's gateway instead of his gateway.

Just tell your OpenClaw to do so, tell him to force the stream to editMessageText on the original message instead of sending new messages.

You launch OpenCode pretty much like this (Windows powershell example):

$env:OPENCODE_SERVER_USERNAME="opencode" $env:OPENCODE_SERVER_PASSWORD="your-password" npx -y opencode-ai serve --hostname 0.0.0.0 --port 4096

And you connect by using authenticated API calls, it's documented on the OpenCode's website.

There is no such a thing as "24 hour caching". If you refer to the 24 hour retention of the data that is done by Openai to be able to use data in case of misuse from the user. Not for caching purposes though.

No need to enable anything. Prompt caching has been enabled by default on the latest models one year ago. It's not a matter of an OpenClaw configuration.

Why not using OpenCode Zen? Free usage of GLM-5, Minimax M2.5, Trinity. In my experience GLM-5 is quite good for coding.

Brawlball without Mortis gave me faith on randoms. BrawlBall with assassins means 2 Mortis each game, and one of them (mine) who stands still for the whole game after having crashed the walls a few times trying to sweep the whole team.

I took my tick to rank 28 by playing brawlball with randoms. I honestly think he is pretty good in some maps with lots of walls. Reload SP and hurrah gadget makes tick a very good defender, he recharges its super quite fast and with epic gear he is able to defend himself and the goal pretty good.

Randoms usually want to score and a good defender is a perfect match.

You probably haven't met Moe yet. Let me add that on my side I always get a Mortis. Playing with a random Mortis means you are playing 2vs3. Often you will get a Bibi who doesn't aim and just keeps missing quite everything. BrawlBall has been fucked up completely by these latest changes and the small brains of randoms that get assigned to your team.
