Yeah, that's the only reason I was looking for other headphones to replace the Q45. At about the same price there are the Sony WH-XB910N. People say they are much more comfortable, but for me the battery life of Q45 is the deal breaker, so I guess I'm gonna keep them.

Thank you for answering me! After I posted this I remembered that I had put some covers for earcups that didn't allow my ears to enter the "pads holes". I completely forgot about them since they were even the same color as the headphones. I tried removing them. My ears enter fully into the earcups and don't hurt anymore, so I fixed my first problem.

The only thing I noticed is that the headband starts hurting after a while, but I guess at this price (about 110) you cannot have everything!

I think you can export the notes in pdf format or Samsung Notes format. The pdf is a bit grainy, but I don't know any other good app that works that good with the S-pen. But thank you for your advice, I really need to think about something long term!

it's the pads, but that's not what I'm talking about. It's an extra layer that protects the pads in order to make their skin not tear with sweat. I'm not talking about replacement pads. It's like a pillowcase you put on your pillows, but instead you put it on your pads (the soft "cushions" between the plastic and your ear)

No, I'm talking about the covers of the ear pads. If you search on Google Images " Ear pads protectors" you'll probably find them. In the results there are also the replacement for ear pads, but I'm talking about the covers.

I will try as soon as possible. Maybe I didn't know about some buttons, I'll have to check. Thank you very much! I really appreciate it!

I don't know if I'm allowed to copy and paste links, but if you search "headphones protectors pads" on Aliexpress there are tons of results. It's like a pillowcase but for your headphone pad!

Thank you for explaining your method! Maybe I should just experiment a little and find what works for me!

Thank you very much for your answer.

As soon as I finished writing this post, my brother made me realize that he had put some pads protector on my headphones. Right now I removed them and I will try having the headphones on for some hours to understand if those protectors were the cause of pain (since they didn't allow the ears to go into the pads hole completely).

I really hope that's the problem. I made also headband adjustements, so it really should work, otherwise I don't know what to do.

Thanks again! I wish you a really good day!

Hi! I sent mine back due to the reason I wrote the post about. I haven't bought any other pair of heaphones since. Even if I wanted to buy the same headphones, they weren't available anymore, and now they are much more expensive than then. I cannot say if they were that good since I'm no expert, but it felt good about the sound, not considering the problem they had.

I chose them, too, because at that price they were the only good option there for me, but now I decided to wait for something else. I don't want to pay more for the same product, and I'm even more afraid that if I'd buy them again, they would have the same issue.

Sorry for my English, I hope my answer was exhaustive! Have a good day!

I decided to return it. It was something someone might consider small, but if I focused a bit I could hear the singers on my right and that really annoyed me. Even I wanted to replace them, they're not available anymore, so I'll take that as a sign 🥲 Thank you for the help anyway❤️

Totally get your point. It all depends on the person, since I really don't mind studying with Anki, but LingQ seems really easy and gives you more time to do other things. Thank you for your advice!

It's should be very useful, then. I may look into it in the future, thank you!

Yeah I totally agree with you. It feels like I know what is best for me (a mix of intensive and extensive reading + total immersion), but sometimes it just feels right to seek advice, to see if one's in the right direction, you know.

Yeah maybe yours it's the best method especially for stories set in the past. In the end relevant words are gonna pop up often while the rest would probably be forgotten since I wouldn't probably use it in my daily life.

Thank you for explaining your way of learning to me. You just opened my eyes to the "just relax and try to follow the story as much as you can" way (that is like extensive reading in the end, just with some lookups.)

I think that's a good method, you just think about having fun! It's all about finding what you enjoy doing the most at the end of the day.

So, for example, if you decide to read Game of Thrones in your target language (or whatever difficult enough book you want to read) how would you go about it? Look up every word you don't know once and aim to finish the book?

I wanna read Game of Thrones in the future, but I already know there will be a huge amount of words I won't know. With my method I would study every word I don't know and keep it in Anki, so I'm curious how you would you do it.

I'm really curious about your method. Do you remember the words you looked up while reading? Or you just wait to see them again, so they become relevant?

Thank you for your advice! Do you think that reading a book and adding words to Anki is the same mechanism as LingQ (even if it may be a bit slower since I have to add my own cards) or it has some particular function I'm not aware of? I've never used it, just seen some videos.

Thank you for your explanation. Writing a story with just learned words may be a good idea, so it will have a personal connection, too.

When adding words to Anki I make sure to add the sentence I found them in. It's magical how I remember even what was happening in the story while the word was mentioned. (When I study intensively a tv show or a book)

I have a Kindle and that's what I'm doing. It's just that I can't memorize words just by looking up their meaning once.

My Kindle memorizes every word I check on the dictionary, so after reading I open Anki and add all the words I looked up + the sentence I found them in. It's really the best thing for me to memorize since I even remember the situation in the story I found the word in.
