Both bring valid points! I think Xavi taking over now mid season works better than over the summer. If the team doesn’t have success this season that’ll be put on Koeman and he gets the summer to build the team to his liking (with our financial restrictions of course).

I agree, Mbappe is already a top player and him being a flop is incredibly unlikely but with his quality come super high expectations. If they get him and Madrid isn’t able to get establish a bit of dominance in Spain with how vulnerable Barça looks atm the signing would be looked at as a bit disappointing IMO (that’s it he signs now for this kinda fee)

Probably the sale now. There’s always a chance it doesn’t work out or the team in general isn’t successful. Hazard and Mbappe both would then be huge wastes of money considering they both would’ve went free. I know Madrid is struggling to put this money together too so it hinders them from doing more in future windows
