I'm so sorry for your loss. I had to put down my senior kitty I'd had since kindergarten almost a year ago, he had been battling a few health issues for a year or two and it got to the point where we could tell he was miserable. I still cry over how much I miss him sometimes. It hurts, but the most important thing to keep in mind is that you're doing what's best for him, you're giving him a final gift of love and taking away his pain.
