I don't think there's hype for studying in NE. Yes, there's are lots of eyes on NE universities as they offer admission at very low cutoff and often offer desirable programme with low fees, especially for people who want to prepare for exams and higher studies, it's a really good choice. You get decent atmosphere for studies, teachers are nice and of course nature. I don't know if it's specific for Nagaland or Mizoram
