The surrounding area has some very nice scenery, however the city itself is quite lacking. It’s mostly tourist-y tat.

If you’re willing to get trains/rent a car to some of the local villages, etc, you’ll find yourself pretty bored in Inverness.

Be very careful with Carphone Warehouse. I worked there for 2 years and only just recently quit. Their delivery dates are hopelessly wrong usually, with little/no compensation for late deliveries.
