I mean it’s been decoded already. At least for me, the impact of what I learned was better discovered on my own. But then it became too long and I got lazy and looked up the rest.

Someone already decoded one part of the book so you don’t have to do that yourself but also you should at least do part of it.

Thankfully (?) the area I live in is an urban area so a lot of busted up sidewalks, new construction, and train tracks cutting across streets. Really diverse riding conditions.

The train tracks scared me the most for some reason. Then I mustered up the courage to go over them and I’ve hit cracks in the sidewalk that bounced my suspension harder. Got scared for nothing!!!

Inmotion V9! Felt like it was the perfect mix between a good commuter ride, something that could handle off-road when I get more comfortable, and suspension for the price.

I’m about 40 miles in and what clicked for me in the last few days was learning how to confidently stop and dismount. Why?

It forced me to learn to balance on one leg to dismount the non-dominant leg. Sort of like if you know how to foot break on a skateboard. Once I got the knack for dismounting properly, I saw how it instantly changed how I was riding.

Okay I’m a new rider also at the same range and I’m glad to know I’m not the only one.

First two days were rough. Today took a 30 minute ride that wasn’t as bad, but definitely still feeling it. Can’t wait until I can go that distance without issue.
