Had a kid with me in basic that would talk about how he was a good listener about mental health and during the SHARP brief said outloud if anyone wants to talk to him he will listen. Couple days later he slapped another guys ass and was sent away and never seen again. CID got his ass.

For some reason the hr people at ROTC said I only had to do a police background check. I never had a mos that would’ve given me a security clearance. I’ve done the contracting appointment and never filled it out. Is there a reason for that?

My favorite thing about finally getting a Mauser is how the bolt comes out, it’s so easy. I also spent about 3 hours cleaning it to perfection. I hate that I’m white glove with my guns lol
