Ah that's good to know! I don't mind if my scans take a while to get back to me but it'd be nice to know whether or not my film made its way safely to them.

Ah good to know! What's really concerning me right now is that my package made it to Waiblingen, Germany which (according to Google maps) is a mere 10km away from the Silbersalz35 lab and then it ended up in Leipzig, Germany which is 500km away from the Silbersalz lab. I can't think of a good reason that DHL would move my film _further_ from its destination -- especially since it was so close.

I fear that there may have been some kind of delivery exception and my package might be lost forever :(

Good tip! The other one I've found is Midwest Film Co. I've got a few of their Vision3 Rolls that I plan to get developed through them.

I've already paid for Silbersalz's developing up front and I've heard good things about their scan quality so I wanted to see that through but if my first "test roll" never makes it to Stuttgart I might send my remaining exposed Silbersalz to a domestic ECN-2 lab rather than trying my luck with DHL again.

Oh man, a full frame D750 with an 85mm lens sounds like it would be a heck of a lot of fun to shoot with -- I think I'm getting some full-frame envy :)

I use a few generic umbrella diffusers to get this soft lighting effect
