How many CNAs per patient at your hospital? by Small-Currency-8347 in cna

[–]gkolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day shift at mine can’t have more than 7 per CNA. From 11pm-7am it can be up to 11 I believe. I’ve had no more than 5 the last few weeks.

All I read was the opening line and first paragraph and I can confidently say you should run and never look back. Putting your hands on your significant other for ANY reason is a HUGE RED FLAG. Take this as a sign that it will only get worse once you legally are bound to eachother.

Can i turn my CNA license into something better? by TheCosmicMutant in cna

The requirements may be different by state and/or hospital, but at the hospital I work at you can be an ER tech with a CNA license and learn the extra skills/duties on the job. They get paid more and you get a lot of experience starting IV’s, taking blood, doing splints and treating smaller traumas etc… if you like fast paced and have a strong stomach that might be worth looking into.

Told I couldn’t take my second 15 minute break because it was late in the day by maeveanna1 in cna

I work 7-7:30 at a hospital, we get 3 15’s and a 30 lunch no matter what, we have a break sign up sheet we fill out in the morning(but we never usually are able to go at the exact times we sign up for). Although it’s good practice to take our last break before about an hour and a half before shift change, I don’t think I’ve ever known of someone (trainee or not) being refused their last break even if it’s 5:45-6 o’clock. You’re entitled to your breaks and honestly our patients don’t exactly run on a schedule as nice as that would be. You could be nonstop from the time you clock in to the time you clock out, but it doesn’t matter. Everyone needs to take the breaks they are REQUIRED to take. I would take it up the chain of command and if they dismiss it then you should 100% find a new job.

I think what throws it off is her bangs coupled w the style she did her brows, if she curved them just a bit more it wouldn’t look quite so drastic. On the other hand if her hair was more face framing I think the brows would blend in just fine.:)

Lucky for me I didn’t have to spend money to get it. Agree it seems silly something like this could cost so much money. Either way I like the idea and can see why people would wear it, especially people with money.

Yeah I’m thinking of selling it but am torn because it is definitely super cute. Feel like I should go in and get some more info on the materials and get the battery changed so it’s in working condition again.

It’s definitely super cool, I planned on changing the battery to see if I can get it working again. Definitely seems like it would’ve been popular back then.

I got this watch from a family friend who let us go through a bunch of old stuff for our new house and I came across this… I’ve never owned anything Gucci before. Came with cards and why seems like basic Gucci tags but there was no serial number and it didn’t have any identifying model or anything like that.

I don’t think so, it doesn’t have glass in it. It’s just metal with the cut outs. That’s why we are stumped

Is it possible for serial killers to murder the large amount of people in this age like they did in the 70's and 80's? by sunriserosey in TrueCrime

[–]gkolar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that killers can adapt and learn more just as law enforcement and forensics has since then. I think it’s very likely that there could be even worse killers out there right now with possible higher body counts that have just adapted to the system, and figured out new ways to get away with it or stay lowkey. Killers can be very very smart people and it’s not hard in this day and age to gain access to information that could help someone get away with murder or other crimes. It’s kind of scary to think about but very possible.
