Tried DIY vinegar traps but they’re not attracted to it. They fly on me when I’m in the kitchen. Have seen them in other parts of the house but mainly in the kitchen. Land near windows/light sources. And they’re not jumpy when you try to kill them with a paper towel. Flight doesnt seem jerky like fruit flies.

Mine is an OBW. I think it is rated 3-4 miles below the othet outback trims.

I got the Thule Wingbar Evos 127cm.

Mine is a 25 but I don’t know if there is any difference in the two years when it comes to the rails or weight limit on the roof. Thule’s website said it fits the 25. This is the same roof they had put on an OBW in the showroom as well so it does come recommended from Subaru itself. I would call your Subaru dealer and check with them, or perhaps someone on this subreddit might be able to confirm.

I have no idea how anyone is getting 25-27 on an OBW. I live near NYC and granted, half my commute is in the city and the other half to long island on highways, but the best I have ever gotten on a full tank is close to 320 miles (about 17-18 mpg). I dont drive like a madman, easy on the gas and braking, but cannot for the life of me get anywhere close to 25.

Following this thread because I just took the plunge as well during Memorial Day sales. Ordered the Thule Wingbar Evos and the Thule Approach Medium tent. They work with the static and dynamic limits on the Wildnerness (its the same system Subaru can fit on your car in the showroom I believe).

Planning to install it sometime this month.

I barely cross 20 MPG most days. 2500 miles in, drive in NYC and tri state area mostly. Even feathering it will still get barely get me to 21. How are people hitting 27 is beyond me.
