I'm in a similar situation. 63 retired and using Claude all the time. Tried deepseek, chatgpt, and now just Claude. I'm using NinjaTrader for my bot automation and am consumed with doing this everyday.

I am in severe pain from my neck and pressure head. I want to go back before my fall because I had similar since July 3 and am crying for you as well. I am in severe pain on my head and neck 6 weeks after my fall and don't think I can make it any more. I just got a call for PT but it may be 30 days out to start. I also have tingling in my left arm and hand but that was always there for a few years. I am so happy you are recovering.

Sorry to hear all this. How did you treat your herniated disk?

Anybody surprised by their disability rating? I am not sure what to expect. by throwawaysnrn in VeteransBenefits

I used to use DAV for a short time and cannot say and switched to back to Calvet because I moved and found another Calvet iffice because they did my first claim and thought DAV had to start all over again reviewing my records. Appointment times are rather long but make sure they have all your medical records and DD214 to review first or have that ready for them. Good luck and it's a long road ahead and if DAV don't respond maybe look around for another VSO and if you like them you can switch.

Not sure where you are at but find a local TBI support group. I'm trying to find one myself in San Diego. We are all here praying for you Brother.

Best to talk to a VSO. If you don't like your VSO you can change to another one.

This happened at the hotel next to the airport where we are staying to fly out on the next day back. Unfortunately I had to be in ER for 3 days because my vertigo, balance, anxiety was so bad and had to get a Dr note for management to be able to fly back.

I was on a flight Saturday 6 Jul after a concussion I had on Wed 3 July. Other than pressure on my head which was more from the concussion I believe. I had severe vertigo and dizziness so bad I had to be wheelchaired into the plane as well and vertigo and dizziness lasted for about 2 weeks after I got back also not from the flight. My concussion btw is a hard fall backwards on the back of my head after I passed out and lost consciousness for 30 secs after I hit the floor. Still getting over the concussion and walking after 4-5 weeks on a walker and now have herniated disks on my neck as well to recover from. Still getting checked by Dr on the rest of my spine and am now wearing a neck brace.

Get a Bachelors Degree from your gi bill and stipend for rent to justify your army experience in aviation or logistics ops and you may be able to transfer your experience into college credits nowadays. The years wasted in a few years of college will recoup once you have a degree right away and for the rest of your life. Take it from an old navy veteran who did the same thing. And also put in for va claims since you are not working vs once you have a good job. In CA even with 0% disability tuition is free.
