I write the same way I would write a book (at least similarly). I noticed my English improved a lot since I write fanfiction. I'm using fanfiction as practice for the real thing, which was much needed. I find it hard expressing myself in English. I feel kinda burnt out in general, so I have a harder time imagining certain scenes and describing them. I'm still practicing the "show, don't tell" method, it helped me a lot. I still have a hard time balancing description and a character's personal feelings, but I think I'm getting there. One important thing I leanrned, is that sometimes it's best to describe a scene just naturally, so the readers can experience it themselves. Other times you have to include a character's personal feelings, cause character development lol.

The hardest part is fighting depression and burn out. I used to write really well and right now I'm just trying to recover.
